The Morehouse Student Residence Hall is a five-story structure with 87,800 square feet of interior space that features 326 beds in semi-suite style rooms. The semi-suite design calls for four residents to share two bedrooms and one restroom. The floor plan will feature individual rooms for 12 Resident Assistants (students) and two Resident Directors (staff). On-site amenities include a laundry room, multi-purpose room, kitchenette, dedicated study rooms, lobby, lounges, and gender-neutral restrooms. The residence hall features two distinct wings joined by a central elevator lobby. The building, situated just west of the intersection of Westview Drive and Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard, will overlook a new campus green designed to accommodate students seeking outdoor areas for relaxation, play, and study.
